To access the Bluetooth Settings window, open the Bluetooth tray menu and select Bluetooth Settings menu item. Bluetooth Settings window appears. Setup Bluetooth configuration as described in the next sections.
With Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software tray applications, you can switch the Bluetooth radio module on and off from your computer:
To manage Bluetooth file sharing options, select Shared Folder tab within Bluetooth settings window.
Enable File Sharing
To allow file sharing from your computer, follow these steps:
Setup read only access to shared files
You can limit the access remote devices have to read only in the shared folder by unselecting the Allow remote devices to change content of shared folder check box.
Disable File Sharing
To disallow file sharing from your computer, unselect the Allow remote devices to browse shared folder check box and click OK.
To manage Bluetooth audio options select the Audio tab within Bluetooth settings window.
Enable Serial Copy Management System (SCMS-T) content protection
Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software works with headsets protected by the SCMS-T content protection Digital Rights Management (DRM) scheme. To allow audio connection only for devices that support SCMS-T content protection, select the Connect to an audio device only if it supports SCMS-T content protection check box.
Synchronize Skype operation with the selected Bluetooth headset
Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software performs automatic Skype call switching to any of the connected Bluetooth headsets. To enable this feature, set the Enable Skype Switching option and select the name of the previously connected Bluetooth audio headset from the drop-down menu.
Note: This option is not available if Skype software is not installed on the computer.
To manage Bluetooth video options select the Video tab within Bluetooth settings window.
Enable Video Sharing
To allow video sharing from your computer, follow these steps:
With Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software you can enjoy high speed data transmitting over Bluetooth devices supporting Bluetooth v3.0+HS specification.
To manage high speed options select the Bluetooth 3.0+HS tab within Bluetooth Settings window.
Enable high speed mode support
To allow support of Bluetooth v3.0+HS specification select the Enable high speed mode support check box.
